River Surfers and Beer Gardens - Munich, Germany

By the time we reached Munich the temperature was starting to heat up - 30 to 35 degrees. Found a fantastic campground near the river with lots of trees to get out of the sun. Spent the day cycling around the cities parks and beer gardens.  Stopped off at a point in the river where a bunch of guys were surfing the river current flowing down off the bridge, awesome stuff.

Oh, and the autobahn has also been heating up.  Driving on it for well over a couple of weeks now 150kph is feeling pretty comfortable (the roads are dead flat and wide).  But every now and then a supercharged Audi/Porsche car will whizz past at about 200kph, freaky stuff.
