Pork & Sauerkraut - Vienna, Austria

It was a mere one hour drive from Bratislava to Vienna, our first stop in Austria.  While the photos below show blue sky, it quickly turned into pouring rain and we had to cut our day of sightseeing short.  Cooking in the campground in the rain was out so we went to the supermarket next door and tried to mime "We would like half a cooked chicken please" to the man behind the counter.

The next day we headed to Schonnbrunn Castle - the home of the 600 year Habsburg empire.  They have summer concerts here which would have been nice had the weather been a bit more reliable.  The gardens were beautiful though - no wonder they have a huge team of gardeners to keep it in tact.
