Towers, caves and monkeys

An obvious first was to check out was the Petronas towers.  The towers are still the tallest "twin towers" in the world and are absolutely huge.

The towers were just a short distance from where were staying, within them was a massive shopping mall with a full range of shops with all the designer brands.

Turns out the tower in Dubai is a biggie..

We did a lot of walking around and jumping on and off the KL rail network which was so easy and
quick to navigate around town! Visited the national mosque and wore traditional gowns.

   The emperors new groove?

·  A bit of lounging around by the pool in the afternoon at the Intercontinental escaping the heat.

·  Dinner in Chinatown, this was the place to be for picking up rip off watches, tees, DVDs and
   bags.

·  KL was steaming with temperature averaging 31 degrees.

On the second day we travelled out to the Batu Caves. Caught the train to Pasa Nana station
then a connecting train to the Batu Caves.

Massive sleepy guy.

The stairs to the temple and big budda

Monkey men.

Stairs up to the main Batu Caves.

View overlooking KL.

Monkeys.
·
·         Monkeys at the temples were chasing Kat, amazing statues and figurines. To be fair the
          monkeys were very creepy.

Visited a few shopping malls, one had a rollercoaster inside it! didn't look like it was working
tho..  Kenny Rogers has a fast food outlet there, and a squash championship was being played inside the mall, very cool.

Squash.
